Conventionally employed technique of Ridley-Allen necessitates the use of lipid solvents i.e. ether or ethyl acetate to remove fat cells. But these lipid solvents are highly flammable. They require special storage and disposal conditions and even obscure parasites, whereas Parasep® effectively removes sufficient fat without using a solvent and also enables better interpretation of protozoa cyst morphology.
Parasep® is a solvent free fecal parasite concentrator that is without ether or ethyl acetate for the clean and efficient concentration of Helminth Ova, Larvae, Protozoal Cysts and Oocysts.
