Embedding Cassettes

Square grid, in acetal resin. With removable lid and writing surface. They resist to all decalcifying solutions and to solvents. Dim. 27.5 x 40 x 7 mm.

Rectangular grid, in acetal resin. With removable lid and writing surface. They resist to all decalcifying solutions and solvents. Dim. 28.5 x 41.5 x 7 mm.

Biopsy Cassettes

In acetal resin, with removable lid. Dim. 28 x 42 x 6.9 mm.

Mega Cassettes

In acetal resin, with removable lid and writing surface. Ideal for the inclusion and treatment of even large samples. Dim. 27.5 x 40 x 13 mm.

Embedding Cassettes Without Lid

With 34 round holes Ø 2 mm, in acetal resin. Resistant to the solvents used in histological processes. With writing surface. Dim. 28 x 40 x 6 mm.

Embedding Rings

In ABS, very resistant to heat and strong pressure. They can be set up on every kind of microtome thanks to the possibility to obtain uniform paraffin blocks. Available in different colours, for simple identification and classification. Dim. 28 x 40.7 x 11 mm.

Protective Biopsy Pads

In polyester foam. For embedding cassettes, with controlled porosity. Resistant to solvents used for processing.

Biopsy Bags For Histological Processing

Resistant to almost all solvents, avoid the risk of cross contamination or the loss of any small particular. They allow changes of various solutions during the processing, thanks to the high porosity. Material: multifilament polyester.

Biopsy Specimen Containers

Paraffin

Tissue embedding media, a mixture of highly purified paraffin containing plastic polymers that provide support for both hard and soft samples. PARAPLAST® NORMAL: for routine use. Melting point 56°C. For 4-micron cuts. PARAPLAST ®PLUS: for quick tissue penetration. Melting point 56/57° C. For 2 micron cuts. PARAPLAST® X-TRA: particularly delicate on tissues in process. Melting point 52/54° C. For 1 micron cuts.
